This is the fifth season of the MTV reality dating competition, Are You The One?. The season was filmed in Cabarete, Dominican Republic and is hosted by Ryan Devlin. It premiered on January 11, 2017 and ran through March 15. 2017.

Plot overview

While trying to find their perfect match, contestants this season have to conquer an additional two challenges. On specific weeks, when a couple is voted into the truth booth the house can either see if they're a perfect match or earn an additional $150,000. Additionally, for each blackout during the Match Up Ceremony, the prize money decreases by 50%.
