Are You the One? A Global Matchmaking Competition is the ninth Season of the main series. This is the first Season to air on Paramount+. The series is now being produced by ITV Netherlands. Season 9 is the first to feature an international cast.[1]
Getaway challenges are miniature competitions the entire group competes in to win a date that takes place outside of the house. Each episode, the house votes one of the winning couples into the Truth Booth to determine if they are a perfect match.
Episode 1: "How Far Would You Go For Love? Part 1"[]
The first challenge of the season tests the contestants' ability to pick the truth. The contestants are given a question with two possible answer choices and a board with everyone's photo. The contestants must pick which choice each participant made and stick them on the correct side of the board. The winning couples are Taylor & Nathan and Samuel & Courtney.
